I have a 1959 Lincoln Penny that is the same size as a dime. The weight is the same as a regular penny, 3.1 grams. Could this be an error?

@may, first welcome to CCF. Second, when you say that the diameter of this cent is the same as a dime, can you please talk a little bit more about how you are measuring these dimensions? The normal diameter of a cent is about 19 mm and the normal diameter of a dime is 18 mm, so they are close enough that I wonder if your measurement tool isn't able to discern this one mm difference.
