I am new to collecting coins but this lockdown has me looking for new ways to kill time. I have recently been going through the 5 gallon glass jug full of coins and seeing what I can find. I have found a couple W quarters, a few silvers and a lot of wheat pennies. Questions to come in future posts, right now I'm just saying hello. Wiki
Hello you and me may be starting out but I'm not to to new ive been working on learning more and more for the past four months or so. Its funny your starting an interest and I'm concerned about the pandemic and the affects on coin collecting with contamination. lol
Welcome to the Community! That is a whole lot of coins! Happy hunting. Maybe some could share how they tackle so many coins. I sort them into zip lock bags - quarters, nickels, dimes, foreign, pennies pre-82, pennies post 82. If a coin jumps out at me as I sort, I put them into an investigate further. Success to you!
