That is what causes a Cud to show on a die: Also on a Cud, you will see a weakness opposite that area, because the void, can't produce a strike on the opposite side of the coin. A die chip is a small break away from the die, but not a huge break away like a Cud would show. Chips don't show a weakness on the opposite side of the coin. Hope this helps.
