1859 Seated Liberty Quarter. Or Not? What Is On The Back?

enzeno Valued Member United States 72 Posts	Posted 11/17/2021 3:58 pm I believe this to just be a modified / destroyed reverse on the coin - but I am not sure. Coin weighs about 4.8 grams so its very light and is a correct 90% silver alloy. The back is just so odd. What do you think this is? Thanks for looking! Report this Post to the Staff

Maybe the work of a jeweler rather than some dude in a shed?
