I was very pleased to retrieve this fromn the bottom of the junk tray at my LCS last week!   Cost me £2 along with 4 other coins!  Edited by NumisRob

A nice example for home conservation. First give it an acetone soak Up to 24 hours (no problem ). Then a Verdi-care soak ( one hour ) then easily with toothpicks and Q-tips. All that green I'm sure is Verdigris and not corrosion just yet .The crud should be removed somewhat easily if you use those two treatments correctly .  |
