Just a die chip. A Cud is when the outside edge of the die breaks off.

This is a Die Cud. Note the opposite side of the coin show weakness. That is because of the missing opposite Die Cud. A die chip is like a pimple to a die. A die cud, is an end of life for a die.

those are die chip on the head but not worth a premium.
