Thank you Echizento , its my earliest Half and only bust coin.I got it from a guy in England so was pleased to bring it home.
In the pic the 50c isn't as clear as it actually is in hand , its worn a little yes but the flash hit just that spot making it look fainter than it is.
The whole coin has a gorgous light rainbow sheen when tilted in the light.

Edited to ask , it does not fit into a normal half dollar airtite , this is to be expected I'm thinking ?Its slightly larger than even a seated half or any other.

The Half-Dollar was changed to the present 30mm diameter in (very late) 1836, as shown on this chart, so you need either a 32mm or 33mm Airtite.

Well-worn Bust Halves are difficult (spelled f_u_n ) to attribute. I think this one's O-110, an R.2 variety. Can you confirm that the A in STATES is rotated such that its' right serif is below the adjacent T? That would nail the attribution.

Yep there is something like you say about the A I think , seems lower.
Theres also some writing around the edge.
Thanks SuperDave :)

Amazing attribution from those photos. It must be more than just a clever name, SuperDave.
