Hi, I'm new to searching through change and found this and would like everyone's opinion on whether I found a machine doubled 9 or a hub die. Thank you so much in advance.

Note the affected area you were looking at. That area is incuse, not raised. A sure sign of Machine Doubling. Also there were no listing on the obverse dies dies for many years.

Pretty much spinning your wheels on these. The newer DDR's do have some listings, but the areas are not the ones your looking for. Take a look at these to see where to look for the DDRs?
