Looks like a perfect day to me for nice Lincolns.
That is a super 1909 S woody and your 1931 S looks a lot like mine.

The quarter was marked BU for 3.50. I looked at it under the loupe and couldn't find a single tick, bag mark, water spot nothing. I'm not a big quarter guy so I'm not sure about the strike characteristics for that year but I think it would grade very high
