Can You Help Identify This? - Coin Community Forum

demonboy279 Valued Member United States 346 Posts	Posted 03/10/2006 9:39 pm I found this in my back yard close to where the bullet shell was. It looks very similiar to many different military and navy emblems but after searching yahoo google and ebay I decided to ask for help. If you can give me ANY information on this whatsoever id be very grateful. Its only about an inch tall and mayb a half inch wide. It looks to be pretty old. The civil war did come through here and actually completely destroyed the city about 4 blocks from me In 1862. So do you think its from then? Anything you might know about this piece would be greatly appreciated... Report this Post to the Staff

Another site told me it appeared to be a NAVY yeoman badge from WWII Ill just put it together and say its a Petty officer second class from WWII? I appreciate everything.
