Someone's offered to trade me a 10oz Englehard for this. I don't know what the going price for this is right now, so I'm going to let you guys decide.

Silver closed today at $14.29 OZ, and the 1/2 Sovereign has a book value of about $120. If your looking for an investment I take the silver. If not than I'd keep the coin.

Good deal .
Now if I wuz you. I'd sell the silver for $140.
Buy a replacement for the coin that you sold for $280.
No wonder I'm broke!

I think it just depends on your motive and what you'd rather be holding. The exchange seems to be fair and legitimate in price comparison but I think this is just more of a personal decision on if you'd rather be holding the coin for 10oz of silver. I bought (2) 2009 half sov's earlier this year and think they are neat coins.
