Hi, I found this weird inner ring on one of my 50 groszy coins.

Is this a mint error? If so, what is it called? I noticed it's the size of a 5 zloty coin inner ring.

To me, it looks as though someone had been at the coin with a hole saw, except it's better centered!

I agree it looks like damage—not a mint error.

Thanks for help, I also thought the coin could've been damaged by someone, just wasn't Sure.
