*** Edited by Staff to Add Denomination to Title. It's very important to have in the title. ***

Hello everyone.. obverse has some UNUSUAL look around the tie area.. under my scope it looks like a mound of metal.. on the reverse there is also activity which to me appears related.. a few of the letters on reverse are really faint... especially the "E" in e pluribus unum. The "s" "t" "a" in the word States are also faint.. these pics do this coin no justice..i apoligize for that!!
Thanks in advance for your replies.

When you have a divot on one side with a corresponding hump on the other, 99.9% of the time it's damage.
