This coin/token is made of aluminum. It measures 21.7mm in diameter and weighs 1.00 grams. It has the date 1367 (AH) on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Just for my understanding - if this coin was minted 1955-56, why the islamic date 1367 AH is on? 1367 should be cca 1948. I have info, that the name of this coin is "halala". Could you clearify it, please. Thanks.
I am back again because I like to know what this coin really is. I looked at http://(131231) Not Allowed - Auto-Removed /countries/Yemen.php and item y#18 1 Halala (AH1367) 1947. It looks exactly like coin which Numistatist6 was asking to identify.

1948 was the year Imam al Nasir inherited the throne. I guess they thought that date was more important to observe than the actual date the coins were struck.

I believe you're correct, this is the halala or 1/80th riyal, the coin listed as KM.Y# 18, not the buqsha KM/Y# 19.
