realeswatcher Pillar of the Community United States 1962 Posts	Posted 02/08/2024 7:56 pm Pics are plenty clear. As noted above, Spain, revalued copper maravedis cob coinage. This is an older (likely 1500s) piece that I think has 3 separate 1600s revaluation counterstamps - should be 1636 revalued to 12 maravedis, 1641 to 8 maravedis, and 1654 again to 8 maravedis. Fairly typical example... These are rather plentiful in number and their value reflects that. Subject to correction on the specific revaluation attributions - I don't deal with these really at all.
