Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6398 Posts	Posted 08/06/2009 8:59 pm Brighter pictures would help but I'll give it a shot. The obverse looks F-12 to maybe F-15 based on the remaining hair and coat detail. The PCGS grading guide states that Abe's face is "worn smooth" at the VG-10 level and this coin appears better than that. However, it looks like the reverse wheat stalks are almost smooth, even the lower halves which normally retain some detail even at the Good-4 level. Maybe it's just the photos? Based on what I see I'd give it a split grade: F-12/G-4. Report this Post to the Staff
