I need help identifying this coin. I ruled out Iran/Persia, Afghanistan and Yemen. I think it may be a 19th century type. Weighs about 2 grams.

@cal, you didn't mention the diameter, but your coin seems to be a pretty good fit for this late 19th Century 25 Dinar from Iran:

I was thinking it was from Iran. The date appears to read 112_

@spence got the type correct.
It looks like 1292 to me me but that wouldn't make sense. Can you get a closeup of the date (under the wreath, which is under the sun)

Edit: by process of elimination, it 1297 (1880)

The date on these coins is so hard to read. Even I have problems seeing it and I'm in my twenties. I can read these dates pretty well normally.
