to the CCF, gtcoins7737! I've handled such notes in the past and there are a few things to look for in many reproductions. First, the paper is stiff and crinkly and an off-yellow color. Second, there is a lack of detail in the engravings, especially the portraits. Also, they don't pass the smell test - old bills generally smell old.Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
