no not a 'proof like' coin. If it were the fields would be very flat and smooth.
Your coin looks like it was struck with a very new die.

Very nice coin and worth keeping clean and safe in plastic or 2x2.

Thanks oddguy I put it in a 2x2 after looking at it with my 30x Magnification jeweler's loupe.
