Try taking a few more images of the date and mint mark area. Rotate the coin 90 degrees at a time. It appears there may be a die crack on the upper West edge of the mint mark. Maybe a coin wrapper touched the SE edge? But the coin maybe be more than that?

Thank's Coop, Tried more pic's, Die crack running from D tru 9 and into 5 and probably die deteriation and damage. Looked interesting anyway!

Looks like my first assessment. Keeps us looking though. I would save it as a conversation piece. It would be a great teaching aid. No evidence on the centers of the mint mark. I appreciate the second set of images. It showed what I needed to see.
