A friend of mine purchased 100 coins at $511 from the bullion group he pretty much spent over 50,000 I'm thinking walking liberty but price they are at now is just over $600 per coin. Can any one tell me anything about this coin he has had them for 7 months so I'm assuming this year or last years production. Any help be welcome

We really need more information on what your friend has it would only be a guess. But if these are Bullion coins that price sounds high.

First they are not US coins.
The 1/10 oz. gold coin is from the UK
The 1 oz. Silver Eureka is not a coin, it is a bullion piece.
Also you do not say where the coins are located. If they
are in Australia and you want to sell them in the US,
then you might have trouble with customs and tariffs.
Really need a little more info.

I'll be moving this thread to the Bullion subforum, since the coins are bullion coins and rounds.

As for the OP question, the "best place to sell" would be pretty much any of those "we buy gold" stores around and about the place. Every big city in the developed world has dozens of them and most smaller cities have at least one, so wherever they are, there's bound to be one close unless they're in outback Australia or someplace. That way, they can physically take their coins to a counter, and not have the extra worry of postage and shipping.

These coins have essentially zero collector premium and are only worth their bullion value. Being bullion items, prices are going to be pretty much constant across the board, though they can feel free to shop them around and find someone offering a slightly better price.

Coin auction places aren't going to be interested in trying to sell bulk bullion lots, especially hundreds of identical coins.

If they want to send the "silver eurekas" back where they came from, ABC Bullion is currently buying the monster box of 500 rounds back for AU$62 per coin. They have physical offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
