Any ideas what this token might be ?
The letters look like an intertwined C & P unless it's a crest or emblem. Only information I have is that it was supposedly found in an old UK Post Office during renovation work.
weight is 24g and diameter 42mm

It appears to be a railway pay cheque token https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Railway_pay_cheque
