One of my employees found this in some change. She called me up to see what I thought it was... I'm not sure if it has been plated with something or simply stripped of its copper? So what do you think? What-Happened-To-This-82-Lincoln What-Happened-To-This-82-Lincoln It is nice and bright with a yellow tone. The scan doesn't do it justice.
God Bless,
Brad

I have a Lincoln Penny that has a bright tint to it. I showed it to the coin dealer and he told me it had been dipped, in what I don't know and forgot to ask him, he did say it was common.

A trip through the washing machine in a pant pocket can give that odd yellowed tone to Lincolns.
