I posted this on June 5th, a little over a month ago. We're down about $11 since then, a little ahead of schedule at the moment, but it wouldn't surprise me to see a rally or two before reaching $50 by years' end.

How to survive in the market in 2026. Step 1: Sell all your stocks and metals. Step 2: Buy oil stocks with all the cash. Step 3: Talk about war, markets go down, oil stocks go up. Step 4: Sell oil stocks for a profit. Step 5: Buy back your stocks and metals at a lower price. Step 6: Talk about peace, market goes up, oil goes down. Step 7: Repeat steps 1 through 6 Of course it helps a lot if you have billions of dollars to do this with. The rest of us just unwillingly go along for the ride.

It must be time to start Buying again. Aaaand it's back above $60 Weird how when someone says $50 it's like the 'signal' to buy, buy, buy...

Small variations of a few dollars are just background noise. I would call a rise of $8-14 dollars a rally. And we may see some, as we have in the first half of the year. But, with a general downward drift for some time to go.

Sadly, the overnight crew forgot to hold the line. I guess we'll see what today's vicissitudes bring.

Aaaand now it's just under $60 About as exciting as watching paint dry or plants grow. It's interesting how every other person on God's green earth has been "predicting" $50 Silver since the big drop from the all time high in January, a whole 7 months of this already. Probably more than half, I'd say maybe between 60% to 75% of anyone that's into metal's, from big money trader's and analysts down to the young collector that can only afford silver dimes, have all said or thought about silver going to $50 at some point. Someone please wake me up when it finally happens so I can get a chuckle at all of the "Nostradamus's" that will appear!! In the meantime because these 50 cents and $1 up and down intra day moves are no longer very profitable, most trader's (myself included) will move on to trading more profitable stuff. So the volatility and price swings should continue dropping and making Silver even more boring than it currently is.

Ah well. Looks like we are back at war with Iran and silver is dropping as a result. Currently back down to the ~$57 range.

Quote: Yup. With Tofu, rinse repeat. You know the routine. Wait until the selling gets so bad the bears come out rejoicing. That's when you know it's time to buy like mad. I saw some sector rotation in the market today that's a little concerning though. Money coming out of some things and moving into other 'safer' things. You know the sort of money flow that happens when there's economic fear. Probably nothing but you might wanna buckle up anyway.
