this weighs 7.9 grams, and has dimensions of 20x22 mm.

There is not much to go on.

It appears to be cast, those bumps look like casting sprues. This fact should narrow it down a bit.

On the almost obscured side, I see what might be faint letters above the dotted rim: ANT

In a case like this, what I think we have is not a cast coin, but a cast blank which was then used to strike an otherwise-normal coin. Casting sprues like this can often be seen on small Seleucid and late Ptolemaic bronzes.

I was wondering if Byzantine could be an option. Follis of Justin I has similar bust and mint name but is too large.https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=16766787
The half follis is the right size, but doesn't match reverse.https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=16766789

Thanks. I never realized that the blanks were cast. In this case it is not entirely blank but there is a recognizable outline of a head. Would a blank have had some imagery?
