I decided that I liked breathing more than smoking, and that I wasn't ready to quit breathing yet. Quitting was a snap. This time I have stayed quit and absolutely will not start smoking again. I had to get a AA battery this evening and keep them in the same drawer as my cigarettes. There's still two packs in there. No problem. The same with the half a handle of vodka on top of my fridge that's been there since I quit drinking in '23. No way will I ever imbibe again.
