I'm a newbie gold investor. I never intended to be a gold investor, but I'm the power of attorney for my aunt, who is alive but no longer capable of handling her personal finances. I recently closed out her safety deposit box at her bank, and it turned out that she had gold and silver coins there.

While finding gold is every child's fantasy, the reality involves responsibilities that movies and TV shows ignore. I fully intend to sell the gold and silver coins on my aunt's behalf. Given that the value of her coins is well into the tens of thousands of dollars, I want to get a good price. So I signed up for this community to learn from more experienced gold investors.

We certainly have some members with experience in gold and silver bullion. You can connect with those people in the Precious Medals and Bullion forum.

Go here and start a new thread, or join an existing thread to add comments:

If your Aunt's holdings are in the form of coins then visit the appropriate coin forum (Classic coins or Modern coins) and post clear photographs.

One coin per thread please.

We have lots of coin experts who will help.
