Just about every coin that seller has listed is fake. Unbelievable.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Clearly counterfeit, but ebay is slow to react. Removal of this stuff cuts into their bottom line so they take their sweet time addressing the problem.

Even crazier someone would buy this date RAW at nearly $700 online without seeing it in hand. I use to report these listings but I got discouraged. I reported a bunch of VERY obviously fake pcgs slabbed 2025 Peace dollars and ebay responded saying they "found no issues.". These Peace dollars were WAY more fake looking than this one so I doubt ebay does anything. The eagle on the back literally looked anorexic and the cert number couldn't be located on pcgs verify. It would be laughable it's so bad but it's not funny to see someone get scammed. Really ruins trust in the hobby

Yes, that D is totally in the wrong position - doesn't even come close to the 6 known dies used.

If you look at "In God" in "In God We Trust", it's not correct. It's an obvious clue that the coin is counterfeit.

I bet they are busy stamping out July 4th quarters by the thousands. Why hasn't the Secret Service gotten involved? These things are straight up counterfeit U.S. coinage. We need to get them to talk to ebay, Temu, and Etsy. That might get their attention. Maybe.

Both coins shown are horrible counterfeits. What a shame as it tends to ruin the hobby for novices.

FYI - This listing was ended by the seller on Fri, Jul 24 at 8:49 PM because there was an error in the listing.
