IMHO, as far as value, this "struck through a dropped letter" would have a higher return on a run of the mill cent. Someone looking for a nice 1931-S isn't likey to pay much of a premium for the additional error. Someone looking to collect the error won't want to pay the additional premium for the scarce date.
