I noticed something seemed different with this dollar bill I received in change yesterday, mainly the dark color. Series 1969. Not every day I see a bill this old in my wallet. Thought it was interesting.

I agree. Suspect it was an item from an estate that was pulled and spent relatively recently. On the back is written: "From Mama - 2/28/75" in small letters.
