Hi,

Got this one recently. Looks like to be LC-48-15 but I found some letters from a previous struck on the reverse.

Overtstruck or something helse?

Thanks!

It almost looks like a rotated double struck, where it was the same design as currently on this, but may have been a weak strike perhaps, so they could have rotated it to strike it again using more striking force the second time. The area where the first strike is seen left of date looks similar to the letters of halfpenny.

Looks the same shape. I wasn't able to find other marks on both sides. Thanks for your answer!
