Hi everybody,

I searched $20 in quarters today and found 6 doubled dies to add to my collection, including this Fort McHenry coin. I compared it with the listings on doubleddie.com and varietyvista.com, and the closest match appears to be WDDR-008. The doubling in the windows and arched doorway matches exactly, as does the doubling on the right roofline. However, there appears to only be much weaker doubling on the slanted roofline connecting the arched doorway to the straight roof than what is on WDDR-008, so I am unsure if the match is exact. The lighter appearance of the doubling could be explained by die and/or coin wear, however, so I am hesitant to conclude that I have an unlisted variety. A picture of the doubling, along with images of the coin's full obverse and reverse, is included below:

Edited: DDO changed to DDR, thanks Dearborn for pointing that out!

If you are calling for a doubled die reverse, then it cannot be a DDO-008 as ' DDO' refers to the obverse of a coin.
I think you mean DDR - right?

Maybe a later die stage of WDDR-008? The doubling seems to match up, at least in my opinion.
