1941 Walking Liberty Half PCGS Submission Disappointment. Where Did This Go Wrong?

StackerBacker New Member United States 38 Posts	Posted Yesterday 9:39 pm After quite a while at PCGS, I glanced at my submissions before they've arrived and to say the grader was having a bad day was an understatement. At least three of my previously PCGS graded coins that I cracked came back a full numerical grade lower, I know, I took that risk so I really can't fault anyone else....but this one I can't wrap my head around. I bought one slabbed coin that was Detailed using that term and I swear it took me about 20 minutes to find the small area on the reverse. Don't know how they spotted it, when they only inspect the coin for about a minute. Report this Post to the Staff

Inconsistency in their grading is why I gave up on using them, sold all my Registry coins and have never looked back. Quote: and it's damaged? Where? Anyone else have an idea? adam126402 Pillar of the Community United States 941 Posts	Posted Today 39M ago FC, is that called damage because it's otherwise an unc coin? Would that be considered damage on say an XF or AU coin. And is this also a difference in how the this series is graded compared to say Morgan's for example. Report this Post to the Staff
