Dowhat Pillar of the Community United States 897 Posts	Posted Yesterday 09:02 am Trying to improve my grading abilities for Morgan's. I see a low MS example disregarding the deficiency. The obverse fields look to have light somewhat directional scratches which involves perhaps polishing. The heavy cheek scratch knocks it down as well. The reverse breast feathers seem AU territory. Despite all of this the luster appears unaffected on both sides. Nice hourglass all around. I think a 55 tops. Help me out on my analysis. Thanks. Report this Post to the Staff

Not that they are not there, I just do not see them in the images on my screen. That being said, there are enough marks to put this at the lowest MS grade. I agree with panzaldi that there might have been some cleaning going on. IF straight graded, I say AU-55. Otherwise AU-Details.
