A bit better afternoon session today than yesterday eh? What I would like to see next is for the metal's to detach themselves from equities again, go their separate ways, stop following the stock market. Like what we saw a couple of weeks ago when stocks and the Dollar were selling off and while Gold and Silver were going higher.

Quote: The morning shift has it back to the ~$67 mark! Seriously? I must have missed that since it appears to have fallen back down into the ~$65 zone now.

... and back up into the ~$66 zone a minute later. Looks like we may be in for a bit of a bumpy ride today. Best buckle up...

Quote: The morning shift has it back to the ~$67 mark! Yes I saw that I think they had to slam the brakes on it because it looked like it was going to shoot straight to $68 right before the Market's opened.

Quote: Back up to ~$67. So tomorrow (Friday) we get the bigger Employment picture for August. We saw how the metals rebounded yesterday morning when the ADP payroll numbers came in far weaker than expected, 38k vs the expected 58k (which IMHO both are terrible numbers considering the last administration was adding 180k to 200k jobs a month in their last year 2023-2024 and averaging 280k to 300k prior to that, but I digress).. So I'm assuming they will buy Up the metals today expecting that tomorrows numbers will confirm what ADP reported. As terrible as it sounds for the economy, which it is, less people working equals less money to buy things, equals less people buying gas and food and driving Up prices, equals lower inflation, equals lower odds of a rate hike, equals higher metal's. The End.....
