Looks like some crazy die clashes - rotated or mule.

Very nice clashed coin! There are a couple of listings on Mad Die Clashes but nothing that matches. Yours would appear to have a slightly counterclockwise rotation to the clash. If they start taking submissions again, you can probably get yours listed. Here are links to the listed coins for 1866 and side by sides of yours and Mad Die Clashes overlay.

Can't get Mad Die Clashes site to open. Did an ebay search for " Three Cent Nickel Die Clash" found several extremely similar Raw and a few Slabbed. Almost certain its a Die Clash, thinking it adds about $20 to value?

Still a little uncertain with Reverse lower Ribbons they're nearly gone, is this normal wear?

Mostly from over polishing because of the clash, the mint worker abraded most of the ribbon out. As for what it may add, I don't know but there are those that love clashes and will pay more.
