I swear these had a lower mintage when initially announced. The reason I know is when I bought the 2025 I noticed the low mintage of 150k. I purchased several and was a bit disappointed when the 2026 was first announced as it also had the same mintage of 150k. Now when I look at the 2026 Peace dollar, I see a mintage limit of 250k which is higher than both the 2021 and the 2025.
Perhaps the 2025 will still be the "key date" of the modern series as the 2027 has already been announced at 200k.
Granted 150k is plenty to fulfill demand but as of now the 2025 uncirculated PD is the lowest minted coin of the modern series (still cheaper than the 2021 though).
