I am new to the community, so bear with me. I have an
inherited collection, mostly 19th and early 20th Century
US coins, and have sold about a dozen coins via
ebay, and have had pretty good results, to the satisfaction of all parties.
I have one coin, however, that, I think, is enough of a rarity that I wanted to solicit some advice before I do anything with it. It is an 1853
Seated Liberty quarter with No Arrows. This is not a particularly outstanding example - merely V/VG - but given how few of them apparently exist, I thought it merits a little special attention.
I have a few questions for the community:
If I wanted to sell it, what would be the best way of marketing/selling it?
It is ungraded - is it worth the time and expense of getting it graded?
Any thoughts, questions or comments are greatly appreciated.
