This is a 1971 $10 Bank of Canada note.
The Back Design is the Sarnia Oil Refinery.

Very nice GEM grade!

As a teen, I did not save one of these from circulation as that would have been about a 1/4 of a week's pay (from my P/T carwash job) & just too much money to put aside. Plus, I happened to have found a modified 1954 $20 (which was a lot of money for me back in the late 70's/early 80's) & other better 1972 FIVES.
