I've already contacted many places, but no one can help. I suspect it's a coin made of silver. It was found in Crimea. It's exactly 2 centimeters in diameter and about half a millimeter thick. Unfortunately, I don't have the opportunity to weigh it right now. I would be very grateful, even for some tips. If you want to get really fancy, neutron activation analysis can often distinguish between genuine antiquities and modern forgeries. Report this Post to the Staff

The lettering kind of reminds me of Cherokee, or Georgian, but it's neither of those.
