I have made my decision on a Canon PowerShot SX110 IS 9.0 MP with 10X optical and 4X digital zoom. Read the reviews on CNET website, out of 25 reviews 19 of them were 4 to 5 star ratings. Majority of the reviewers championing the cameras zooming ability's! Now to try it out and see what lighting I will need. Read the thread about lighting found it very helpful. Wheatguy I did look on ebay for your Canon SD780IS and found selection to be limited do to pricing thanks for the camera advise!

Thanks! I remember buying the camera off a recommendation from you, it was definitely a good choice.

Oh, that's right! Yeah--great macro camera, huh?

Found this camera on ebay for $89. It's a cheapo but perfect for my low budget. It's an Olympus FE-370 Red with macro AND super macro. Only problem I'm not sure if it has a place to connect my tripod, if it does I'll probably buy it. Any thoughts?
