If it is 009, you might check to see if your doubling exactly matches this: http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mds They have one die marker for this die and it is a die dot. These may/may not be present on your example. If yours was struck before the indention on the die (dot on the coins) it would not show. These die dots can be caused by a blow to the die/striking something as hard as the die/die slowly wearing away. They may start out light at first and get deeper (making the dot on coins to appear taller. If you coin was struck after this it should be there, but over polishings can remove these if the area was worked over harshly. So a micro image of the die marker area might help and a micro photo of th date. Hard to tell excatly what you have with the images provided.
