What I mean Darth Anarchus, is that the GSAs Morgans I have; some say "Uncirculated Silver Dollar" on the slab and have a serial numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Other GSA Morgans only say "Silver Dollar" on the slab and come with an un-numbered COA card.
Fom my understanding the the ones that didnt make the un-circulated grade were thought to have some defect such as toning or extras scratches. Heres what it says on the card:
The basic problem is what GSA chose to call the "Uncirculated category." The implication is that excluded coins were not Uncirculated, which isn't the truth. These days, the better choice would have been "Choice Uncirculated category" or something of the ilk, implying that coins in the category were MS63 or better.
Which this coin misses by one point, in my estimation.
