It's a winner. It has far more bubbles than any penny I have ever seen.

I think they call them plating blisters. I've got a bunch of Lincoln with them. Still Cool to look at.

That is a fun find. Now if there were only a way to smooth out the warts so that they're only on his face, and then rub it with a bit of ammonia to let it oxidize to a bright green you'd have a Zombie Lincoln. :-)

The rinse before plating was poor leaving the bumps. This was very common on the early 80's cents. Don't buy a variety on one that has this. They lower the resale value when you want to sell them.
