I think if you don't remove the tarnish, you'll get graded lower.

Fredd, you're one of the wisest and most experienced among us, and because of that I cannot fathom why you would advise any procedure to remove discoloration from a circulated coin. Especially using an abrasive. I cannot agree with you, and suggest you're doing Lobby a disservice by making this recommendation.

Especially since it won't work anyways.

A poultice will draw up the discoloration. At no point did I advise using the abrasive properties.
