Here is my 70s SD I got a few weeks back. I picked her from a album at a Antique Mall. I bought the album just for this coin. The rest of the coins (1941-1975) were all the same quality.

MS64, IMO. What's the nature of the black spot? Corrosion, discoloration or goo?

U dunno...I not experienced with it that much...I dunno what to do in regards to it..If I had to explain it...looks like charcoal colored mold on top of it....

Jayman, great pick-up. Any chance of a close up picture of the date. What is that spot a piece of lint? I hope so.

That's a carbon spot and it cannot be removed without damaging the coin, leave it alone.
