Wow, I should have known to guess high on his coins... Because of the high grades. I think the thing that blew our guesses way off were the pictures. They were hard to tell what grade the coin was. I'm curious and anxious to know what it graded. Did it hit ms 63 or 64?

I thought about using the original hi-res photos, but I feel that this is part of the game. With as many participants we have now, I want to give everyone a fighting chance. It is also why I will not disclose if a coin is slabbed and what the grade is.

My thought when I saw that coin was basically "Oh, that's a really nice MS Peace dollar... Wait, a 1934-S - isn't that really rare in MS? (checks Numismedia) Yeah, it's really really pricey in MS... But everybody's guessing like it's a regular Peace dollar... Maybe they know something I don't? Maybe I'm just misjudging it and it's only AU... But that's still pretty pricey..." I then guessed way higher than everybody else at the time, which opened up the floodgates. Stupid peer pressure! I'm just gonna guess first so that other guesses don't influence me!

Yeah I'm glad that you never tell the grade for slabbed coins makes it fun and tests our grading skills.

So I guess Bizy and I were the only ones to figure it out. Darn you Bibzy for over guessing me! I pegged it for a 63, but figured no one was gonna bid over me the way it was going. Nice coin. Good deal if its a graded MS64.
