I'm trying to order 5 sets but the "Update Cart" button gives and error "Shipping method is a required field." even though that field is filled out. It'll only let me order 1 set of 5.

Got a work-around..
Click "Add to cart", when viewing the cart, click the item link, click "Add to cart" again.. keep doing it until you've got 5 in your cart.

One thing that gets me is "Mintage While Supplies Last". They could continuously produce while they have supplies?

Can't "add to cart" at all here. Just sits there and does nothing. Their IT infrastructure has always been a bit funky.

RCM web site is a joke, when I checkout, I was asked to login again, then it told me I was already logged in. in the shopping cart after I update the quantity, it says the shipping method is invalid... I have never ordered one item smoothly from RCM, where is quality assurance? Have you heard US mint sold 100,000 sets of silver eagle 25 anniversary edition within 4.5 hours? imagine this kind of traffic hit mint.ca?

@Silverbug, I am glad to know that I am not the only person who has been having the same problem. Its been this way for months.
@canadian_coins, yup same here. I've been trying to order the coins since noon today. I've tried using IE, Firefox & Chrome. Always the same issue. Just spins & spins.

@ RCM, Its been an issue for months & months so I doubt that it will be fixed in the near future. Telephone orders have a drawback of not being able to see the order online afterwards. I have also been told "we are working on that" concerning this other issue. I'll keep trying over and over again. Its going to work eventually. :)

Not sure if it's true or not, but whenever I order by phone, my spend total to earn Masters Club member status does not increase. As for ordering online i.e. those new twoonies, I just clicked "add to cart" five times(if you want the 5 per household), clicked checkout, logon and followed the next 3 steps. Works all the time for me.

RCM: I did some test, here is what I found:
normal account checkout works fine, when I login as master club account during checkout, I got "javax.servlet.ServletException: An unknown error occurred while removing an item to the Order with id [webXXXXXXXX]." if I login again, it says I'm already logged in, if I leave account and password blank, it says I need to fill the fields. basically I can't go any further.
if I login as master club account first, add to cart doesn't work at all

I logged out of my Masterclub, then I "add to cart" five times and now I am trying to go through the checkout phase.
Website asks me to log on and after I enter the user name and password, after a long wait: javax.servlet.ServletException: An unknown error occurred while removing an item to the Order with id [web9292xxxx].
clicked on "log in" again and: You are already logged in as xxxxx@xxxxx.xxx
I went back to the homepage and shopping cart was deleted. nice. Now the website is almost unusable. The main page does not load, the profile does not load.
Switched from firefox to IE and now the page is responsive again.
By default, I was already logged in as mastersclub and "add to cart", of course, does not work. Logged out, and "added to cart" five times.
Go to checkout phase, asks me to log in and after a long wait: javax.servlet.ServletException: An unknown error occurred while removing an item to the Order with id [web9292xxxx].
Same issues I have been having all day. :( First the airmiles website and now the mint's? arg....
