Out of curiosity, what was the reason for sending it in to PCGS? Was it worth the grading fees to have the coin elevated from a 50 to a 55? I agree with their grade and it's a very nice coin.
I know there is not that big a difference in price guide value between AU50 and AU55, but there are a few reasons why I sent this one in. I bought the coin for my certified type set, but I knew there was a good chance that I will upgrade this coin at some point because I am hoping to have all of the nickels in mint state. If and when I do sell it, it will be a lot easier to sell in a PCGS slab than an ANACS slab. I had a few other crossovers to submit so it did not cost me all that much to add this one to the submission. Also, I got a good deal on it, so I thought I would still get my money back if for some reason it did not cross over.
