This is a link to the auction I won. I just left a feedback. New to all of this. https://www.ebay.com/itm/267381270649 When I posted that the coin is an MS63, that is my estimate based on the ANA grading book and my inexperienced attempts at grading. Forgot I purchased a microscope back in 2017 for my company. Ended up buying it from the company as it was not needed really.

Very nice looking SLQ, jerrytheplater! However, scrutinize the coin very carefully when it arrives. The seller - coinsncards - is well known for shenanigans.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Quote: The seller - coinsncards - is well known for shenanigans. I was thinking the same thing. I started to think, why did the seller post this coin in such an odd color? Was he hiding something, so I dug into it deeper... It looks like there are no stains or marks on the coin. A very nice coin, I might add..

Looks like he filtered out the lighting. I noticed the seller used the same lighting on his photos which gives them this warm white look instead of a nice clean cool white or dayglow lighting.

Quote: ooks like he filtered out the lighting. True - but if the original editing causing the gold toning to smooth the coins surface was meant to hide something then just changing the color will not show what's being hidden. One of his negative feedbacks stated this: "1917-P Type 1 Standing Liberty quarter Uncirculated FH Full Head Monster Scarce! (# 256660438684)" Negative feedback: "coin not as described, coin is details cleaned and artificially made gold in color. my bad for assuming it was the the sellers poor lighting making the coin the color it is."

I just always look deeper into coins that aren't slabbed that should be. In this area here it looks like hairlines.........
